is a molecular bioengineer focusing K+ ion channels of the pulmonary circulation and their role in the pathobiology of pulmonary arterial hypertension. He established the role of NADPH oxidases in hypoxia-induced pulmonary vasoconstriction, vascular remodelling, mucus hypersecretion, and asthma development. He currently working on the regulation of cation channels in chronic lung diseases-associated pulmonary hypertension and is leading one Stand-Alone-Grant funded by FWF.
