is a biophysicist focusing on protein structure, biophysical properties of TRPC channels in native tissues, and TRPC-protein lipid interactions. She has contributed to the development and characterisation of novel photoswitchable tools for controlling TRPC channels. She is currently characterising transgenic TRPC mice to investigate the role of endogenously expressed TRPCs in the brain. She collaborates with Sánchez-Murcia (photopharmocological TRPC modulators), Bacsa/Bärnthaler (in situ hybridization and immunofluorescent characterization of the midbrain regions), and Malli/Gottschalk (genetically encoded sensors).
