is a physician and immunopharmacologist with a strong focus on lipid mediator metabolism and signalling in lung and airway disease. As a fellow of the Schrödinger funding programme of the FWF, he has previously investigated the thyroid hormone agonism in acute lung injury. Currently he aims to characterise the signalling pathways involved in lipid generation and degradation, and their effects on different pulmonary cell types (e.g., fibroblasts, epithelial or immune cells).
