is a biochemist with a strong interest in subcellular Ca2+ signalling in the heart. Her current research explores how isoform-specific CaMKII activation drives early adaptive Ca
2+ handling changes to meet hemodynamic demands while contributing to later maladaptive cardiac alterations. She has been awarded the prestigious START FWF grant, and previously the BioTechMed Young Researcher Group Grant and three FWF grants. Within TRPC.at she collaborates with Schindl and Tiapko (TRPC KO mouse models), Olschewski/Nagaraj (cellular electrophysiology), Malli/Gottschalk (fluorescent biosensors, super-resolution microscopy), Bacsa/Bärnthaler inflammatory response),
Sánchez-Murcia (photopharmacological TRP modulators) and Heijman (computer modeling).
