is a biophysicist with strong interest in calcium-selective ion channels. His research integrates in vivo studies and in silico simulations. He has pioneered organic light-triggered semiconductors for neuronal stimulation. Currently, his focuses on bioelectronic medicine, including optoelectronic neurostimulation and electronically controlled local chemotherapy on 3R in-vivo tumor models of ex-ovo embryonic chicken (EIC Pathfinder Grant). Within TRPC.at he collaborates with Sánchez-Murcia (photopharmocological TRPC modulators), Malli/Gottschalk (genetically encoded sensors and super resolution imaging) and Tiapko for electrophysiological recordings.
